What is the accuracy for mean, speed, area and volume? I saw in the TYS ans key that when they ask for estimate of mean, the ans is 178²/₃ but my answer was 179(3sf) which one is correct? And for speed, their ans was 2²/₉ but my answer was rounded off to 3 sf 2.33. Need help please!

Tldr: I'm a 14 yr old dude who started HS around 2 months ago. I'm not happy anymore, and I'm stressed and busy all the time because I made the mistake of joining marching band. It's not a matter of social anxiety, and I just feel very mildly down all the time. How do I fix this, not suppress it?
Hi, I (14m) recently started high school. And to be honest (haha I know this sounds bland coming from a teen) but I'm just not happy. I'm not crying everyday or shit like that. I just have a jam-packed schedule.
I joined marching band, and was sorta pressured into it because I was an all-state musician. By the time I wanted to quit it was too late. For example, I don't have a single free Saturday until late November, all marching band.
People always say to do fun things on Sundays and see friends. But those just like hide the pain, y'know. I only feel happy on Friday and Saturday, and everything else is just being down. How do I get rid of it?

I watched half of the S1E1 a long time ago. I didn't like it and gave up. For no particular reason, I started S1E1 again and binge-watched to the end.
First, dislikes

Now that's out of the way, BoJack was an absolutely wonderful show. I usually don't dig anthropomorphic animations, BUT, this show was so good that it didn't matter at all.
As a former semi-sad, semi-anxious, semi-selfish, semi-destructive person (I may very well still be), this show hit a home run. Sometimes it almost felt like looking into a mirror. Despite having a very normal childhood, I could feel the loneliness of BoJack through my bones. WRITERS of this show are PHENOMENAL.
I generally only feel emotional with movies, and don't really care about TV series, BUT, I legit teared up at the finale—and the final sequence.
I got very sad that it ended. In real life, there's no ending until the end, so to speak. I just couldn't say bye to BoJack, because I can't say goodbye to myself—if it makes any sense. I kinda wanted to have BoJack throughout my time—even if it's once in a while. Oh well.

Noticed a couple girls asking this on some recent posts, so here’s my super simple layperson primer from experience.
Firstly, weight itself is 99% down to calories in and out. If you eat less than you burn, you will lose fat; if you eat more than you burn, you will gain fat.
Sometimes you lose a bit of muscle tone as you lose fat. This is one of many reasons why weight training is good. Another is that having more muscle on your body will increase the amount of calories you burn throughout the day. Also, muscle makes you look hotter and not “skinnyfat.”
There is a rough number of calories at which you can eat and maintain your current weight. If you can figure out what that approximately is using online info or your food logs and then subtract 500 calories from that, you will be in a deficit of 3500 calories per week or one pound of fat loss per week. Recommended rates of weight loss range from 0.5-2lbs per week. If you start off very very heavy and dramatically change your eating habits it may initially go faster for you, though.
Unless you’re very short, fixing your diet is going to be the main way you fix your calories in/calories out equation, not adding a crazy amount of cardio or anything like that, because that tends to be unsustainable. For very short women, however, if a 500 calorie deficit from what you’re currently eating would put you much below about 1200 cals, it might make more sense to eat at a 300 calorie deficit and add exercise or just expect to lose at a slower rate (it’ll show up faster on you than on tall women like myself anyways).
The statistics you see about 95% of people regaining weight or whatever are mostly fearmongering based on a study from the 1950s of about 100 morbidly obese people who had already struggled with losing weight and who were essentially sent home with diet plans. Of course they all regained. It’s very hard to get real statistics on things like weight loss because people are notoriously bad at self reporting food intake, and also defining a diet vs simply eating healthier is a whole grey area. Basically, don’t be intimidated by those statistics.
The reason a lot of people DO regain weight is that they go back to eating like they used to. Just purely making up numbers to illustrate here, if I started at a weight of 195 with a maintenance calorie intake of 2200, then I might cut to 1700 to lose, right? But when I reach my goal weight of, idk, 150 (I’m tall), then maybe my maintenance calories are 1900, not 2200, because I am physically moving less mass around day-to-day and so my body is doing less work and expending less energy, which is what calories are. So if I go back to eating how I used to, at 2200, I will gain again and consider that a “failed diet.”
So how to reduce calorie intake? First of all, get a calorie tracking app and log everything you put in your mouth, including drinks. I take my coffee black and it has about 5 calories still, but I don’t log it; however, if you take it with any amount of cream or sugar, you definitely should! Same goes for oils you cook with, sauces, tastes of things, SNACKS, etc. Someone once told me to track for two weeks accurately and faithfully so I could see what I was eating before I tried to reduce it; that might help you.
Most of the diet advice you hear is ways to reduce you calorie intake. One Meal A Day is helpful to reduce calorie intake for people who like to graze. Things like low carb or low fat diets may or may not work for you depending on how full you feel on them, but eating high protein and high fiber specifically keep you feeling full so you’ll feel less driven to eat more. Drinking a lot of water makes you feel more full. Volume eating does the same thing. For my money, eating basically “healthier” overall, ie fruits, veggies, protein, fiber, healthy fats, is the best way to do this because those foods are typically very satiating on fewer calories.
HOWEVER, you can STILL overeat on healthy foods. And frankly, you can lose weight on a shitty diet (I am living proof!). So tracking is king.
Final tip: keep some fun foods in your diet in reasonable amounts so you don’t feel deprived, you want this to be long term.
I am completely skipping over a LOT here. Check out loseit and related subs for more. Just wanted to help some of you girls shortcut my trial and error.
My personal expertise: 195->160, got sober and started eating a lot of sugar (very common) and went back to 190, lost to 160 again and have maintained about there over covid. This has taken years and I have an addictive personality in a HUGE way, so don’t take my regaining as you being doomed to failure! If anything it’s proof that it can always be done. (That said if you feel very out of control around food or have a history of EDs talk to a therapist first!)

I just grabbed a copy of Tasha’s and I am seriously confused about how they wrote the rules for sidekicks.
You are supposed to take a whole monster block that’s CR 1/2 or below… “and add to it.”
So, RAW, you take (as examples) *multiattack (Thug), *Pacifying Spores (Myconid), *flying and invisibility (Sprite), *etc etc etc… then level them up, giving them more abilities?
And, RAW with hit dice, you take the dice in the block and add to them? So your level 10 sidekick is going to have more hit dice than your level 10 PC?
And this is saying nothing about how Rangers are gonna feel, knowing their buddy’s level 10 dog warrior sidekick can take on their grizzly bear.
This seems like a seriously… unflavorful… maybe overpowered?… probably overshadowing… way of handling NPCs.
Am I missing something? Did WotC drop the ball on the editing? Or is there a little switch I need to flip in the brain? Any thoughts are appreciated.
